The role:
Growing the marketing business within the agency, your knowledge of brand promotion will ensure that this important arm of the firm continues to grow and develop. Managing a broad range of accounts, you will therefore be at the forefront of developing the customers’ brand strategic vision, ensuring the agency is able to deliver on its promises. Working closely with the clients, you will develop their objectives and growth strategies, regularly reviewing these to ensure that they are being achieved and managing their financial performance. When there is a problem with one of your accounts, your positive approach to finding a great solution will result in a happy client. You will also take the lead in generating new business opportunities, pitching ideas to existing clients and new customers. Crucially, you will also develop the skills of your team, working with them to understand their ambitions and helping them achieve these with the agency so that they enjoy an ongoing pipeline of exceptional talent.

You’ll need:
• At least ten years of experience in an agency environment, with an emphasis on brand promotion and client service.
• Natural leadership skills – but you’ll also be a team-player.
• An in-depth knowledge of the healthcare environment, with a good awareness of current trends and developments.
• Fantastic writing skills, with the ability to produce creative briefs that will inspire your team and generate inspirational work.
• Good people management capabilities, with an enthusiasm for developing the skills of those below you.
• The ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, supported by excellent IT skills including PowerPoint, Word
and Excel.
• The confidence to work with senior clients, translating their ambitions into creative solutions.
