The role:
As the lead in-house scientific expert, you will be central to nurturing and developing client relationships across the business. Working alongside the CEO you will see to it that everything the team does is based in solid scientific and therapeutic evidence, with clearly-defined strategies for all accounts. Translating scientific and medical concepts into a language that a variety of audiences can understand, you will make the most complex health challenges seem like a doddle. Hunting down opportunities to deliver results for your clients, you will ensure strategies are being accurately actioned and delivered – always remembering that you are working as a partnership. Passionate about maintaining your sector knowledge, you will ensure your colleagues remain at the front of the pack by identifying new business potential, with the ability to interact with medical leads and external experts as their equal – so if you spot a sector trend or an area just begging to be exploited, then you’ll have the full backing of the team as you explore the possibilities. In short, your ability to inspire fascinating scientific discussions will ensure your dynamic colleagues are living up to expectations, and your solid industry knowledge will prove invaluable when impressing your clients and securing new ones.


You’ll need:
• Experience of working at a senior level within a MedComms Agency
• Outstanding scientific knowledge, with a passion for maintaining your industry understanding.
• Proven experience in a strategic role, with exceptional client-handling skills.
• To be a team-player, with the willingness to share your understanding of emerging trends with colleagues and clients.
• Outstanding communication capabilities, with the confidence to translate your knowledge into verbal and written
presentations.
• A bulging contacts book of industry and medical experts.
• Solid business and financial acumen.
