Our client is a multi-award winning healthcare marketing and communications agency based in the heart of London’s West End. They partner with leading brands, both OTC and pharma, across the UK and Europe and business growth requires them to seek an experienced Account Manager to help manage a portfolio of OTC brands.

Working closely with the Director, you will be responsible for the delivery of a range of materials and campaigns that lead to product recommendations by healthcare professionals and interaction with patients and customers. These campaigns range from training programmes and creative advertising, to digital campaigns and direct marketing.

You will be responsible for the full life cycle of the project, from taking the initial brief through establishing time lines and key deliverables; working with creative designers and digital programmers, you will manage campaign elements stage by stage through to completion, offering campaign reporting where required.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with, and acting as the link between, the client and the agency by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that projects are delivered effectively
  • Working with agency colleagues on campaigns that meet the client's brief, timelines and budget
  • Presenting, alongside agency colleagues, campaign ideas and budgets to the client
  • Presenting creative work to clients; being proactive in suggesting new campaigns, updates and ideas
  • Handling budgets, managing campaign costs
  • Writing client reports and meeting actions
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Arranging and attending meetings, supporting clients’ needs in their daily roles
  • Working on and supporting pitch presentations and new business activities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Educated to degree level, preferably in a life science or communications
  • Previous experience of running accounts gained in a healthcare agency environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, along with great presentation skills
  • Motivated and ambitious
  • You will have an ability to make intelligent and informed decisions on behalf of the business, whilst knowing when to escalate issues or decisions
