SSR is looking for a talented Account Manager/ Senior Account Manager to join the medical education team of a leading global health comms agency.


This is an exciting opportunity to work on a fast-growing and fast-paced global portfolio account which offers the chance to develop your strategic and scientific communication expertise, alongside project management and event skills. The role is based in a creative team environment that supports professional and personal development.


Key Requirements:
• Responsible for the day-to-day planning, organisation and execution of client programmes, including:
-financial project management of assigned projects
-the management and routine decision-making responsibilities for assigned projects with support from the Account Director
-acting as the primary day-to-day contact for clients and KOLs for individual projects
-active involvement in the strategic and scientific requirements of the account
• Maintain an understanding/overview of all projects across the account:
-review materials to ensure alignment with client brief/objectives and account/product strategy and be able to confidently discuss these knowledgeably with clients
-regularly review the overall account programme and client objectives with the Account Director and proactively advise client on new issues/external environment that may have an impact
• Provide expertise, leadership and experience to the internal team
• Grow business (organic and new business proposals)

Key Experience:
• Minimum of two plus years of agency experience (Account Manager) or three plus years (Senior Account Manager)
• A track record of success in project management and delivery across a variety of medical education projects, as well as financial management
• Excellent time management skills; dependable, conscientious, keen and reliable; able to juggle and prioritise, meet challenging deadlines, find solutions and work under pressure
• Good understanding of pharma regulations
• Desire to grow and develop our business as well as personally within the role; challenge the status quo and be part of developing new creative approaches and solutions to both our client’s problems and our internal priorities
