The role:

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a newly-created role, and shape it as you see fit. At the forefront of the brand new data and analytics arm of the agency, you will therefore take our client on an exciting journey, showing them the full potential of data science and how this ties to strategic planning processes in advertising. From predicting trends and social-listening based research projects, to gaining evidence to support the ‘right’ direction of a campaign, you will ensure decisions are based on the results of analysis. As the value of data and analytics develops in the agency (which of course it will, because you’re brilliant and you will ensure this happens), you will be tasked with growing the team, recruiting the best talent, line-managing their capabilities, overseeing their outputs and ensuring their capabilities are nurtured. This is an agency with big ambitions – and a client base who are calling out for your skills. So if you can think big, and you have the impetus to introduce the tools and methodologies that are needed to make it a roaring success, then you’ll fit right in.

You’ll need:

• Considerable experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical marketing, PR or advertising, with solid experience of applying data
and analytics to strategic planning processes.
• A good knowledge of research and analytical methodologies and tools such as those used for social listening.
• The capacity to apply data and analytics to winning business and understanding future market trends.
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the written capabilities to back this up.
• To be an IT ninja. What you don’t know about Word, Excel and PowerPoint isn’t worth knowing.
• An undergraduate degree, or relevant experience – you clever old thing, you.
• To be a decision-maker. This agency needs someone with direction and a clear vision for the future of the team. So if you’re
wishy washy, then don’t even think about it!
