The role:
In this newly-created position, you will help the agency evolve to be more in-tune with their clients’ needs, adopting the type of sophisticated communications methods that will elevate them to the next level. Integrating emerging data analytics, channels and content, your role in the senior leadership team will be to help them think bigger, better and brighter – particularly in relation to rare diseases. Encouraged to explore your vision of what makes a great PR team, you’ll wear many hats in this thrilling role. First up, you’ll be an all-round healthcare PR guru – someone who knows how to listen to clients and turn every problem into a brilliant opportunity. It’s because of this that the clients will adore you, and they’ll be keen to hand over even more business. Which leads us swiftly to the next point – you’ll understand how to generate business and forecast finances. This is an agency that celebrates straight-talking – so you’ll know your way around the P&L, and how to win business opportunities. And crucially, you’ll be a people person, leading by example to ensure the teams are producing the type of work that will make their awards cabinet even more outrageous. You’ll need:
· Senior leadership experience in a healthcare PR or medical communications agency.
· Strategic planning skills that are quite frankly gobsmacking.
· To live and breathe what’s happening in the pharmaceutical industry.
· To be clever – your bachelor’s degree will be proof of this. That, and your charming wit.
· Financial know-how. You’ll have previously held revenue responsibilities, and you’ll understand what it takes to generate a
juicy income.
· Some experience of working on rare diseases would be preferred.
· To be an all-round good egg. Customer-focussed, approachable, motivated – you’ll be the type of person who the team will
enjoy hanging out with.
