Our client is a leading global agency in the healthcare sector. This role is a key role spanning both the creative and account management departments For this role you do not need a background in healthcare comms, though previous experience in a creative agency or similar would be ideal. You may come from a financial or tech background and in terms of skills you may currently be a traffic manager, project manager or integrated producer.


JOB SUMMARY

Project Manager has 2-3+ years of experience in project management. They are creative problem solvers whose project management expertise allows them to guide development efforts for digital and print tactics. Strong problem solving and organisation skills help them oversee the project team’s activities, as they are accountable for the overall quality of work in conjunction with functional leads, ensuring goals are met and projects delivered on time and on budget.

They are great communicators, motivators and project managers with an innate ability to take ownership and accountability of their projects. As a result they juggle multiple project priorities with ease and discipline. They advise teams on best practices, scope, and pricing, and present concepts and work. They are able to build strong, resilient relationships with internal departments and external clients.

They manage all aspects of the project life cycle from concept to delivery and must be intimately familiar with the roles of Editorial, Client Services, Strategy, Creative, Production and Digital (User Experience, Development and Quality Assurance). They have experience moving projects through all internal agency departments and roles, ensuring the proper reviews and approvals at appropriate stages. They have experience with client side regulatory submission platforms, MLR requirements, and associated processes. Whether it’s involving the correct resources from each department at the optimal time, ensuring resources are available and priorities are managed in alignment with account, identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions ahead of time, the only thing certain is that no one day is ever the same.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 Function as a brand- or team-dedicated project manager, being the hub of all project execution, partnering closely with account teams and junior to senior participating project managers
 Manage print and small-moderate digital projects, including sales aids, banners, emails, brochures, and website updates
 Work with account teams and functional leads to develop project brief details as it pertains to scope of work, timing and cost based on business, user, regulatory and functional requirements
 Develop, implement, and manage project plans, including timelines in project management platform (WorkFront) and assist account teams with estimates
 Manage all tasks and resourcing (internal and external), using project management platform (WorkFront), to ensure projects are up to date, tasks adequately assigned, and communication is clear and consistent
 Responsible for allocation technology and UX resources for banner, email, and website update projects in conjunction with Head of Project Management and functional leads in WorkFront
 Partner with account management on pitches to help ensure tactics are created on time
 Monitor and advise print production and digital resources and external partners on impending resource needs and project requirements as they shift day to day
 Communicate project status to teams and clients on a regular basis, maintaining internal status reports
 Partner with Account Management to track and report project budgets
 Ensure proper change management documentation is executed as scope changes or project priorities shift, and that new requirements are communicated to project teams
 Monitor and ensure success of all MLR activities, including submission systems/platforms (ie Zinc, Veeva), submission requirements, and reference and support materials
 Oversight and workflow management to gain critical internal approvals via Digital Routing platform
 Working knowledge of executing static digital assets for e-publications, web placement and digital counterparts to print pieces
 Experience with managing smaller digital projects, including banners, emails, and website updates
 Knowledge of and advocate for production processes; ensures team members follow best practices during project execution

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

 2-3+ years of experience as an Project Manager in an agency or in marketing communications
 BA / BS or equivalent experience
 Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare is preferred
 Strong written and verbal communication skills
 Experience with Microsoft Office
 Exposure to web development technologies, technology vendors and third party offerings
 Knowledge of all major common print tactics
 Experience with broadcast projects, namely from concept to storyboarding, and experience with broadcast producers a plus but not required
 Working knowledge of executing static digital assets for e-publications, web placement and digital counterparts to print pieces
 Experience with managing moderate digital projects, including banners, emails, and website updates a plus
