The role:
Build your own planning function! Taking ownership of all planning-based processes, you’ll be a goal-setter, a strategist, an innovator and an all-round creative guru. As a member of the senior management team, you’ll inspire ingenuity at every turn, using marketing insight to guide your planning outputs. If something’s not creative enough, you’ll have it back to the drawing board pronto – so when the clients see the finished product, they’ll be awe-struck by your ability to guide marketing strategies that aren’t just good – they’re flipping marvellous. Developing and leading the creative briefing process, you’ll use both current and new planning tools – so you’ll need to have your ear to the ground to ensure the clients are getting edge-of-your-seat type knowledge. And it’s precisely this knowledge that you’ll share – because sharing is caring. Firstly, you’ll train the team so that there’s a big fat juicy pipeline of planning talent in the agency. And secondly, you’ll lead and develop client thinking through innovation days and some pretty nifty strategic workshops. And because you’ve got so much planning prowess stored up in that clever head of yours, you’ll use it to identify business opportunities – turning your stonking good ideas into money-makers.

You will:
• Be a planning guru. A clever little planning genius, if you will. So you’ll need some pretty comprehensive experience in the
health market field.
• Enjoy getting to the heart of a problem, understanding people and developing sharp insights – all the attributes of a truly great
planner.
• Be a motivator, a mentor and a critical friend – underpinned by great teaching skills.
• Love being part of a truly collaborative team. Lone wolves need not apply.
• Have the gumption to listen to what’s being said, argue your corner and find a happy solution.
• Be a great people manager.
