In fact, that awesomeness extends to this job too, because you can work from home if that suits you (as long as you’re willing to pop into the office once a month for a meeting). The role:
Let’s get the nitty gritty out of the way. In this oh-so-tasty role, you will sell medical education projects, ethnographic research, digital solutions and strategic advice to a whole variety of pharmaceutical clients. We could leave it there, but it’s such a nice opportunity that it deserves a little more love. So we’ll tell you this – you’ll have a nice juicy contacts book of clients that you can sell to, and you’ll be really exited by the thought of pitching for business and flirting with new contacts too. You little tease! Acting as the bridge between the client and the delivery team who are dealing with the day-to-day nuts and bolts of the agency’s work, you’ll be like the bridesmaid to the bride. From first client contact to the successful delivery of each project, you’ll be by their side, ensuring they’re not just receiving what they were expecting – but that they are receiving such a dollop of wondrous love that they keep coming back for more.

You will:
• Need at least five years of experience in a medical communication agency. So you’ll also be comfortable taking on digital,
traditional, medical affairs and commercial projects.
• Have a nice body of work behind you, with a strong track record of helping pharmaceutical clients develop medical
communications strategies.
• Love meeting KPIs. In fact, you’ll love exceeding expectations.
• Be comfortable negotiating projects with procurement and business unit heads.
• Have an unashamedly entrepreneurial streak, particularly as you’ll be working with the Commercial Director to identify
revenue opportunities. So knockout presentation skills would be helpful too.
• Be the proud owner of the type of contacts book that others would die to get their hands on (ok, maybe not literally die, but
you get the gist…)
• Be so downright good at your job, that your contacts will vouch for how ace you are.
• Be open to travelling occasionally according to client needs – but then, a little trip overseas is quite a nice thing, right?
• Be a thoroughly ace person. Someone who can get the best out of the team and the clients, backed up by great verbal and
written capabilities.
