The role:
This is a true whopper of a role. In a nutshell, our client is a small but high performing organisation. They’re hugely well-respected in the industry. Now they’re on an unashamedly ambitious trajectory, with the aim of tripling the business over the next few years. Which is where you come in. Establishing their new pharmaceutical business practice and continuing to develop there health technology practice, you will be responsible for getting them onto the most exciting pharma procurement lists and growing the business as a whole. As the owner of some pretty strong opinions about healthcare systems and the future of the pharmaceutical and life sciences fields – and how these can be disrupted with bold digital and technology interventions – you will lead the team to create consistently exceptional pharma communications. Using your strategic business acumen to drive revenue opportunities, you’ll network your little socks off to get the agency noticed as a key player in new markets, you’ll establish yourself as a sector-leading thought leader and you’ll be chomping at the bit to pitch for (and win) new business.

You will:
• Be a healthcare communications leader, possibly with a background in PR, PA, market access or broad communications.
• Have hands-on experience of growing or transforming a business, including identifying new markets and service
opportunities.
• Know what it takes to develop, inspire and upskill a team.
• Have a track record in generating revenue opportunities, winning business and establishing new market positions (obv –
otherwise this really isn’t the role for you!)
• Bring some serious flair, creativity and innovation to the team.
• Be well-networked in the industry, backed up by exceptional communication skills.
• Enjoy having the ear of the CEO – this is a collaborative team who want you to embed yourself at the very highest level.
• Be well-versed in building solid pharma client relationships, including conducting successful negotiations with procurement
and senior contacts.
