Our client, one of the UK’s leading pharmaceutical and health companies, is looking for a Communications Manager. This is a significant role for the business as the successful candidate will be pivotal in supporting strategic and tactical communication programmes to build and support the profile of the company, focused on external and internal communications.
Working in a busy and dynamic team, this role covers corporate communications including media relations, social media, corporate brand positioning as well as issues and change management and internal communications.
The role would suit someone who thrives on working in a fast paced environment, who is both analytical and strategic, is strong at developing and executing programmes and campaigns, enjoys working as a team player and is able to engage at a senior level.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record in communications across a range of disciplines and the ability to think in a focused way. You should have strong writing skills with the ability to turn complex concepts into clear and structured messages tailored to relevant audiences.
This role would be great for someone with two to five years’ experience in communications roles. While pharmaceutical or health experience would be preferable, we are looking for the right candidate who can demonstrate a flair in communications and has delivered some key projects which have had an impact.
