Our client is a boutique medical communications agency based in Central London. They are seeking an Account Director to join their team and lead the delivery of strategic and brand communications programmes.

They benefit from a unique relationship with healthcare professionals to build communities, educational programmes and marketing campaigns that deliver measurable outcomes and that meet and surpass their clients’ aims and objectives. They work on domestic, pan-European and global projects and provide a full range of medical communications services including medical education, market access and disease awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the tactical implementation of assigned programmes
  • Be a key client contact
  • Hold an in-depth knowledge of client objectives
  • Owns and develops the client relationship
  • Internal client representative within the business
  • Liaises with internal teams as appropriate to deliver projects on time
  • Financial responsibility for assigned programmes
  • Generates client project estimates and statements of work
  • Writing and delivering client briefs to internal teams
  • Overseeing the adherence to processes to ensure quality client delivery
  • Tracks project timeframes and client project status
  • Create and develop opportunities for organic growth
  • Participate in new business activity with Input into pitches, lead generation and credentials presentations
  • Line management, training and development of team members

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Life science degree
  • Previous experience of day to day running of healthcare accounts gained in a medical communications environment
  • The ability to manage the delivery of a range of communications materials and events
  • Team player
  • Good rapport and relationship building ability
  • Good organisational and time management skills
