The role:

In this fast-paced position, you will be at the forefront of digital healthcare comms that don’t just relay a message – they convey passion for the brand. Reporting to the Global Director, you will therefore lead a talented team in developing a portfolio of healthcare clients, driving revenue for their businesses and ensuring consistently high-calibre creative and marketing products are produced. From strategic planning to execution, you will be the go-to person for your clients, devising proactive and responsive concepts – all within budget and timescale. You will also pursue opportunities on behalf of the wider agency, identifying scope to generate business from existing clients and new prospects. Overseeing the work of your account team, you will take final responsibility for all key decisions and outputs (such as agreeing agency fees and forecasting), and your exceptional talent development will ensure your team remain passionate about their roles and are excited about what they’re capable of achieving.

You’ll need:

• At least 8 years of experience in an agency or client-side marketing environment.
• Experience of developing industry-leading digital healthcare communications and advertising campaigns.
• A comprehensive grasp of the healthcare industry, with a good awareness of current issues and trends.
• Evidence of the ability to juggle various multidiscipline and multi-sector accounts at the same time.
• Outstanding strategy-developing skills, with the ability to write inspirational conceptual and strategic briefs.
• Good numeracy skills – financial management and profitability won’t phase you.
• Fantastic communication, negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to produce presentations that will knock the
competition out of the water.
• The gravitas to inspire great results from your team and the partners you are working with.
• Professional qualifications would be an added bonus, but aren’t strictly necessary.
