Job Ref:
Division Lead

This role is working as a Division Lead and will focus on heading up a new Med Ed division for an established agency based in the Richmond area. The company already have a strong presence in the healthcare market (work with over 40 pharma clients) and do some ad hoc Med Ed work (pubs planning, slide decks, KOL mappings, etc) but have never had a division dedicated to this.

The plan is to build a stand-alone business unit offering Med Ed service that will be able to leverage the existing strong pharma relationships. It’s a very strategic role and will initially focus on driving strategy and defining the client services offering and tailoring this to each individual client. You will also then take the lead driving new business, leading client strategy and budget meetings and managing the in-house delivery team and internal recruitment.

Minimal hands on project management required in this role - you can use the existing in-house teams for digital/ content development, editing, project admin etc.

This role would suit someone that enjoys business planning and has the commercial vision to build a new division and define/ refine industry specific strategy. Strong Med Ed agency experience is key as is a lot of experience leading on client pitching and project strategy conversations.

Happy to consider Account Directors with strong commercial skills that are interested in a new challenge as well as more senior candidates.

The role will be office based with travel to meet clients as required - good transport links to the office as it’s situated within 5 mins of a station with connections into central (Waterloo and Victoria about 30 mins) and also a direct line to Reading.

Commission & full additional benefits on top (including Pension, Healthcare, gym allowance, etc.).

Please contact me to discuss the role further - I'd be happy to arrange a convenient time to talk?
