The role:
Fancy taking on a role where you’ll be given the freedom to really show what you’re made of? Then look no further than this enticing opportunity in which you can either work from home or in the London-office, with some travel thrown in for good measure too. Our client enjoys an enviable position in the industry, producing and distributing a broad range of medical education formats including e-learning, live events, print and video. But now they’re on an exciting push to grow the business in Europe, with the support of someone who can help them develop their thinking, approach and strategy to meet the needs of a changing marketplace. You will therefore work alongside the Manging Director to develop the business through direct sales of our existing services to European-based pharmaceutical personnel, aiming for around US$1million of sales by the end of your first year. You will also strive to identify business opportunities (with both new and existing clients), then write and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to translate these concepts into confirmed accounts. Using your extensive market knowledge to make the most of these openings, this is a fast-paced environment in which to help our client achieve their far-reaching goals.

You’ll need:
• A passion for meeting targets and deadlines, as evidenced by at least three years of experience in a medical education or
relevant business environment.
• Outstanding client-handling skills.
• An entrepreneurial spirit supported by good business acumen.
• The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• A knowledge of the independent medical education field, with a good familiarity of accreditation processes and requirements.
