Digital Director – Medical Education
North West

Based in the North West, our client is a medical education agency that supports brands on a worldwide scale. Initially devised to develop, launch and market brands in therapeutic areas, they have since scaled-up to offer outrageously good medical communications and education services to an engaged client-base. Their success stems from the sheer diversity of services they offer. From strategic product development, to real-world disease understanding, they enjoy devising solutions that are both unique and bold – all of which is created by an exceptional team. And the team are what makes this role quite so exceptional. Friendly, diverse and committed to having a good time, you can expect an immense level of career satisfaction when you join their ranks. Supportive and humorous, they all buy into the agency ethos of collaboration – which is quite frankly lovely. Targeted training and an excellent benefits package (including an on-site gym!) are also on offer – making them one of the most enticing prospects currently on the market.

The role:
This is a role for someone who truly loves digital. Obviously you’ll need a good knowledge of traditional med ed, but you’ll have the capacity to look at what this agency is doing with their existing clients – then revolutionise their success (and their profitability) with a big dollop of digital magic. Getting involved in every element of the campaign lifecycle, you will work across a number of high-profile brands as you come up with initial strategies for each client, then develop that potential on a digital platform. From first concept through to final evaluation, your digital know-how will ensure your accounts perform better than anyone has ever imagined, and your capacity to learn from post-evaulation will ensure the agency’s digital expertise and reputation continues to grow and grow. As comfortable in front of a client as you are in a pitch team, this is an agency that will welcome your talent and know-how with open arms.

You’ll need:
• Solid agency experience, with a particular emphasis on med ed & digital communications.
• Good strategic knowledge, with the impetus to translate great ideas into even better actions.
• A thorough appreciation of how digital can complement traditional Medical Education – with the flexibility to work in a
multidisciplinary team.
• In-your-face knowledge of emerging digital trends, plus evaluation techniques and tools.
• Blow-them-away client handling skills. When you go to a client meeting, you’ll dazzle them with your creativity – without
bamboozling them with digital jargon.
• The willingness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck into every project – this is an agency that doesn’t appreciate delegators.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
