The role:
Let’s get to the nitty gritty here. This is a role that needs someone with boundless energy, plenty of ideas and a passion for hunting down and securing new business. The agency isn’t looking for someone who delegates – they’re looking for someone who actually wants to get involved in the most granular levels of identifying, pursuing and securing business opportunities. As such, a new business communications division has been formed, and it is here that you will reign supreme. Shaping and running the entire division, you will deliver revenue opportunities, winning new clients and retaining them with your no-nonsense approach to business. Inspiring the team to deliver great results, you will ensure resources are being used to best efficiency, and your ability to simultaneously oversee a portfolio of accounts will make you an invaluable part of this integrated leadership team.

You’ll need:
• To come from an agency background, with experience of working at a senior or Director level. You don’t need lots of
experience – in fact our client would prefer a fresh talent – but you do need to understand the ins and outs of agency life and
running a top-quality division.
• Masses of energy and enthusiasm. They want to feel your passion for this exciting business from day one.
• To be a fan of change, with plenty of ideas on how to implement it to best effect.
• Solid industry awareness, with a good understanding of the relevant regulatory codes and legislation.
• Premier pitching skills – you know what it takes to snaffle the business away from your competitors.
• The type of people management skills that will have the agency gossiping about how amazing you are.
• Financial and business acumen – obvs.
