We need you to have strong scientific foundations:

-Educated to degree level in a biomedical science (Masters or PhD preferred)
-Medical writing experience in a global medical communications agency (minimum 2 years), with at least 1 year in a similar position
-Enthusiasm for delivering high quality and relevant medical and commercial content across a variety of channels and formats

But we also want you to bring something extra to the table:

We also need you to be proactive, willing to work collaboratively with others who have different skill sets, keen to try different types of projects and ready to push boundaries.

What you will be doing

-Support the Scientific Engagement Director to ensure the team delivers commercial and medical communication projects to the highest standards of quality control and client service, whilst always maintaining the unique and creative approach that sets WRG apart from other agencies
-Produce creative, factually accurate and clearly written content on a variety of therapeutic areas and across a range of formats and audiences, in line with project briefs and client expectations
-QC content produced by others for scientific and linguistic accuracy, clarity and adherence to the client brief
-Lead specific projects, including briefing creative, digital and other colleagues as required, and liaising with them to ensure an appropriate balance of design and content
-Actively contribute to client/HCP events, and attend/facilitate these meetings as required
-Mentor and support junior colleagues, reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback
-Line management of 2 members of the team
-Effectively communicate with other members of the Healthcare Communications team in order to ensure seamless project management
-Monitor project costs against agreed budgets and any changes to project scope
-Keep up-to-date with industry best practice and regulations applicable to TCEG and our clients

Beyond traditional

Proactively contribute creative ideas to briefs and pitch work to add ‘engagement partner’ value to our clients
Act as an internal Scientific Consultant to other departments within WRG, providing insight and expertise that can supplement existing internal capabilities, and lend scientific credibility to exciting deliverables across the company
Use your medical writing experience and industry knowledge in combination with your creative flair to help design and deliver engaging solutions that go beyond the traditional to reach healthcare audiences in exciting and innovative ways
