This integrated healthcare agency based in Soho is looking for an ambitious and knowledgeable new business director to work within the PR team.

You will have excellent new business and client service skills and will strive to deliver effective communication providing the senior level consultancy needed to ensure strong results.
Fifty percent of your time will be dedicated to new business development, helping to generate new client leads and working with your Board lead to drive and support new business proposal development.
The remainder of your time will be dedicated to client services and providing strategic support across clients and accounts.

New business responsibilities:

• Proactively look for new opportunities through networking and marketing activities
• Serve as lead in new business proposal development and guide to broader team in RFI and
RFP response
• Lead new business pitches working with a Board lead
• Serve as PR liason to HU New Business team

Account and client responsibilities:

• Serve as strategic lead on key client accounts
• Have an excellent understanding of brand strategy and the healthcare landscape including industry, NHS and European and global developments to provide trusted strategic counsel to the client team
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of relevant Code of Practice, e.g., ABPI/EFPIA/FDA, and guide clients and team appropriately
• Set and maintain high quality standards to ensure we exceed client expectations
• Understand broader communications and marketing landscape to identify when other disciplines or skills may be needed and integrate them appropriately

You will be strategic, creative and able to think on your feet, as well as a strong presenter whose written and verbal communications skills are outstanding. You will also understand that modern and effective communication now demands integrated solutions that cross disciplines and channels and actively engage other disciplines in new business and client initiatives.

The client is open to a candidate who is looking for 4 days a week as well as full time.
