Seasoned healthcare communications specialist required by full service agency with offices based in Brighton, London and Macclesfield who are on the hunt for an Account Director. This multi-award-winning team are looking for a senior operator to lead a team of account handlers with expertise in the pharmaceuticals and life sciences sector and assist them in continuing to grow, both across the UK and globally.

They are looking for someone who is keen to take their career to the next level be part of their 100+ strong team who have been generating success across multiple industry sectors for over 20 years!

Your responsibilities will be to lead on strategy and new business whilst managing a strong portfolio of client accounts. Working with a wide range of existing clients predominantly from the pharmaceutical sector – from global giants to smaller specialists, you will need excellent communication abilities as well as the need to enjoy a challenge and be able to find solutions to complex problems.

You will be an ultimate self-starter, creative and collaborative in your approach, naturally inquisitive and tireless in your pursuit for accuracy and quality. But most importantly you need to be committed to delivering programmes that drive measurable outcomes, in line with the company mission.

In terms of experience, you will have an extensive background in the health/pharmaceutical sector within a communications agency setting. You will need to be comfortable shaping and leading communications programmes (global, UK or both), targeting multiple stakeholders - from payers and HCP’s to patients and the public, and using multiple channels to inspire behaviour change. You will also be experienced in effectively managing a wide range of budgets.
