The role:
Speed is the key word here. Somebody who can dive in and make an immediate difference. But this agency isn’t looking for someone who will come in and shake things up – they’re looking for someone who will deliver sustainable results. Someone who will instantly connect with clients and colleagues alike, and sprinkle a little bit of the wowee factor in the process. So let’s talk about their clients – they’ve got some pretty epic pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare brands under their wing. Now they’re looking to further drive that side of the business, so you’ll be a new-business hound – sniffing out opportunities, and creating revenue from new and existing contacts. Leading pitches and nudging clients into marketing, advertising, social media and digital avenues, you’ll drive results. You’ll also be there every step of the way to oversee the client’s accounts. When there’s a challenge you’ll resolve it, when there’s an opportunity, you’ll explore it. Developing program objectives, you’ll provide strategic counsel… which brings us neatly onto the fact that you’ll line-manage the team, ensuring they’re passionate about their work and helping them become the next award-winning success story.

You will:
• Be capable of charming the socks off healthcare clients.
• Have oodles of experience in a PR agency or client-side role. At least 12 years of industry know-how would be nice.
• Be clever. You’ll need a bachelors-level degree, but a higher degree would be the icing on the cake.
• Have plenty of people management skills, backed up by great communication skills (so in other words, you’ll be a nice
person. Who also happens to be good at leading, inspiring, influencing and motivating others).
• Be good at driving new business and leading pitches.
• Be credible. Your understanding of the digital landscape will be unquestionable.
• Know how to use metrics and data in decision-making processes.
