The role:
This is your chance to put a proper, epic, career-defining position on your CV. Leading a team who are delivering edge-of-your-seat integrated healthcare comms, you will be the guiding hand who ensures every little detail is top notch. Your remit will fall across both UK and global campaigns and clients, so you’ll need to have an international mind-set to make the most of the role. From business planning to pitching for (and winning) new business, you will be central to all agency operations. You’ll make sure your teams are happy and productive, and you’ll resource and mentor the best people – to ensure they’re creating their best work. Using your exceptional healthcare knowledge to ensure your clients’ competitors are left reeling over their responsive approach to communications, you’ll be a trail-blazer in the field. In short, you’ll be everything to the team – the motivator, the delegator, the teacher, the opportunity identifier, the business-winner, the client-charmer, the downright charismatic leader who sees them go onto even greater things. Not much to ask really…

You will:
• Be pretty flipping clever – you’ll need a degree, ideally in a science discipline.
• Have at least 8 years of experience in healthcare communications, with an emphasis on medical communications and
healthcare PR. Crucially, some of this experience will have been in an agency environment.
• Understand the change drivers in the NHS and international health systems (like we said earlier, you’ll need to be clever.) Oh,
and you’ll have experience of delivering programmes with a market access focus. Clever, clever, clever.
• Be a problem-solver (so you’ll need good strategic skills too).
• Have a background in winning and leading UK and international accounts.
• Be a knockout presenter.
• Be creative, with solid copywriting skills.
• Have good business and financial know-how.
• Know what it takes to be a great leader.
