Our client is a full-service global medical communications agency that offers integrated communications on international and global accounts. Due to continued success, they are looking for a Publications Team Lead to join their team in their London office.

In this role you will manage and grow a team working with international publications accounts. In addition to offering your extensive scientific, editorial and strategic expertise to current clients and stakeholders, you will be involved in developing new business opportunities.

This is a great opportunity to be a driving force within the business unit and as part of the Senior Management Team help shape the culture and the ethos.

  • Lead the publications group to ensure effective delivery of publications plans
  • Play a pivotal role in forecasting publications work
  • Actively manage and develop client relationships and operational efficiency

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Life science degree – PhD preferred
  • Significant previous medcomms agency experience, particularly working with publications
  • Experience in strategic publication planning
  • Leadership skills and previous line management experience
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication and delegation skills
  • Experience working within oncology a plus
