The role:
Agency or collection of practices? Now there’s the real meat in this role. Following the acquisition of a number of smaller agencies, this organisation is defined by exceptional strands that need bringing together to create one industry-shaping, convention-defying integrated business. And that’s where you will weave your wondrous magic. Working with their dizzying array of in-house creative, insights and digital/social health specialists, you will empower the teams to deliver uniquely tailored strategic outputs. You’ll be delivering medical communications services relating to patient advocacy, medical education and media relations (both traditional and digital) – so there’s plenty to sink your teeth into. Crucially, you will develop and grow their expertise in patient advocacy and MedEd in HIV, plus you’ll be supporting a plethora of ethical pharmaceutical, diagnostics and consumer health brands. Now here’s the really nice aspect of this role – this organisation are well aware that there may be teething problems along the way. They’re not expecting you to be an overnight success story, but they have got their eye on the long-term future – and the amazing things that the team will deliver under the right leadership. You will:
• Be a walking, talking encyclopaedia of patient advocacy, medical education, medical communications (traditional and
digital/social).
• Bring some serious leadership presence to the table.
• Be a real people person. You’ll inspire, motivate and challenge your team to create consistently excellent results.
• Ideally have experience of working with both UK and EMEA clients.
• Be a new business hound. You’ll contribute to new business proposals by bringing experience, creative ideas and a human
touch – so you’ll be adept at sealing the deal too.
